I joined the University of Liverpool as a Lecturer in 2013 after spending 5 years at the University of York, during which I completed my PhD and held a Teaching Fellowship in Modern History. My research and teaching interests are in modern British history in imperial and international contexts, with a particular focus on youth, histories of humanitarianism, and the social and cultural impacts of decolonization.
